In Acts 25, new Governor Festus' immediately is met with another trial and attempted ambush of Paul by the Jews. Paul, then appeals to Caesar, in order to force a trial before the emperor in Rome. And Festus then appeals to visiting king Herod Agrippa II for helps on how to send Paul.
Since Festus, like Felix, was confronted with the resurrection of Christ and rejected it, the sermon ends with a survey of the instances and the importance of the Resurrection--both Christ's and the final one it guarantees--in the book of Acts.
