We are often quick to assess the outward circumstances of a person, but the Lord looks on the heart. As we enter Mark’s gospel today, we are going to see a man from the outward perspective that is paralyzed. He is unable to walk. This is a difficult position to be in, but Jesus does something that is startling before the crowd. This morning, the title will be “Man’s Greatest Need: Forgiveness.” We will consider 1) The Primary Mission of Jesus 2) The Paralyzed Man and His Friends 3) The Perplexed Minds of Unbelievers 4) The Power of Jesus to Forgive and Heal. Let’s read Mark 2:1-12 together.
