The Covenants of God - Lesson 3 - The Covenant with Noah - Gen. 6:18; 9:8-17. We find two covenants in Genesis 6-9. The first is a pre-flood covenant made by God with Noah. The second is post-flood and includes Noah, his family, and every living thing that was delivered from the flood in the ark, and their posterity in perpetuity. These covenants assure the continuation of humanity on the earth and warn of a future judgment to come. As only those in the ark were saved from the flood, only those in Christ Jesus will be saved from the fire.
