What the prophets did of old through words is what we are to do now through words. These examples of faith and the results of it do not separate the Old Testament believers from the New Testament believers, rather there is a continuation that faith continues to produce the same results. Under the New Covenant, all those who believe are prophets and should have a prophet's reward.
