A season is an appointed time, but it is longer than a minute, or a day, or a week or a month. It is an extended period of time. It may be long or short, but it is a temporary and changing thing. We have Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter as the seasons of the year. A life also consists of seasons, and they are pretty much parallel with the seasons of the year. We have our springtime, our summer, our autumn, and our winter before life is over. Seasons are by God's design and make life much richer than it would be without them. We should accept this fact of life and enjoy every season of our life for what it is, and not complain like we do about the weather. |
