The Land Covenant: The regathering described in Isaiah Chapter 11 is the second one however this time it is in faith in preparation for millennial blessings. This is not local and is from the entire world. Isaiah develops a number if characteristics of the regathering. 1. Unity between Israel and Judah will be restored 2. Ephraim's envy of Judah will cease (due to placing the temple in Judah's territory (Psalm 78:9-11; 67-68) The unity will empower them to overcome their opponents 3. The final regathering will be accompanied by miracles 4. The Tongue of the Egyptian Sea, which is the Gulf of Suez, will dry up; the Euphrates will be smitten and split up into seven smaller streams so on can easily cross it. 5. The same way as a highway was made for the Exodus another one will be made for the final regathering. 6. After the Exodus the Jews sang a song recorded in Exodus 15:1-18. In the same way they will sing the song found in Isaiah 12:1-6. The song has two stanzas. Verses 1-3 describe their thanksgiving to God for ending His anger toward them; they realize that salvation is in Jehovah who poured out the water of salvation freely. In the second stanza in verses 4-6 they make known God's deeds to the entire world. So they give thanks and shout out God's goodness.
