When God saw the captivity of His people Israel, He had compassion and respect to them for His covenant's sake.
When Moses declared to Israel that God had heard their cry and would deliver them, the people bowed in worship.
When the manner of their salvation at the Passover was announced to them, they again worshipped God.
The example of Israel's response to God's Gospel message ought to prompt Believers to worship and praise whenever we hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Like the Passover, Christ will rescue His people by and through a great judgment against wickedness and oppression. Like the Paschal Lamb, Christ has suffered that judgment in the place of His people. LIke the blood upon the doorposts, Christ's precious blood declares during the judgment an exemption for all that are under it.
When faced with so terrible and great a salvation - an all-consuming judgment of the world that Believers have been spared - let us rejoice with Joy unspeakable and Full of glory, receiving the end, even the salvation of our souls!
