There is a quote out there that says;
'a mother's job is to work herself out of a job'
Now to some of you that may not sound like a too bad idea right now.
For some of you who are in the middle of raising little ones, you may think that all the mundane, repetitious, relentless, monotonous, routine of wiping noses, wiping dishes, wiping counters, wiping noses, wiping bottoms, putting away laundry, putting away toys, putting away the groceries, putting away the ones that are sleeping, and that once they are all asleep, you try to find some time to catch up. Catch up on friends, catch up on cleaning, catch up on emails, catch up on sleep yourself, catch up on keeping your husband in check with things he needs to catch up on, and tomorrow, you will do it all over again and you may think that this will never end? |
