Great Sermon! Thanks Pastor Hereford for talking about this important subject from John chapter 6. Verse 63 well explains what Our Lord was saying to the people listening to Him. He was a jew, raised in a jewish family, talking to other jews, and as such they all understood that cannabalism is wrong. They also practised/observed the annual Passover Meal. The bread and the cup was passed around the table. Our Lord Jesus did not pull up his sleeve and tell them to bite His arm, nor did He stick a needle/siringe into his veins and pull back the plunger , and then dispense his blood into the Passover cup. To think that we are partaking of His actual flesh and blood is to forget/deny that The Lord Jesus Christ is Ascended to the right Hand of the Father in Heaven. "He is not here...He is Risen!"
