We are called to make people thirsty for the righteousness of Christ. We are to minister like the Master. Jesus "used the needle of the law to make way for the thread of the gospel." Speak the truth in love confessing that you, like everyone else, are naturally an idolater. What person outside of Christ puts God first? Absolutely no one. The proclamation of the law has the power to filet the soul and lay it bare before God, showing the gospel as the only remedy.
