Well, we have begun to look at the works of the flesh and the fruits
of the Spirit, and by looking at the list Paul gives us in Galatians
chapter 5 verses 19 to 24 and at the speed we are moving, you may
be thinking it may be a long time before we come to the fruit of these
messages. Well rest assured, we will get there. Because I feel that
when we come to this list and others like it in scripture, we often go
over them like some check list. We simply go over them, checking
them off one at a time saying, nope, nope, nope, that one doesn't
apply to me so nope, nope, and nope, all done and on we go with the
reading of the word. And we fail to recognize the soft and subtle
beginnings of the things we allow into the soul, in allowing a little bit
of it here and a little bit of it there, little things that one day will
grow into these works of the flesh. |
