These next two chapters deal with the whole Babylonish system. There are two Babylons one as system of the Gentile world-government; the political system that is controlled by the Anti-Christ. The beast controls the first and he creates the second. The second Babylon is the religious system, the apostate church that opposes the One True Living God, and the LORD Jesus Christ.
