Great Sermon! Wonderful, life-changing! The last few minutes had me weeping. So grateful for sound biblical teaching at a time when ear-tickling seems to be the desire of most "christians".

One thing missing... A thought about this message: while listening to Dr. Baucham explain about avoiding the spirit of this age and avoiding the spiritualism of doing things such as just diving randomly into the Bible in order to find messages, it would have been interesting had Dr. Baucham touched on the life of Augustine, primarily his conversion, which as as a result of that same type of spiritual revelation via "take up and reading"....

Great Sermon! Excellent sermon! We are all so caught up in the world system and it is wonderful to have someone brave enough to say the truth - that it's all wrong! Thank you so much!

Here's the Thing I really enjoyed the sermon. But I do not believe that this sermon is in the same spirit as Kevin DeYoung's "Just Do Something." Dr. Baucham's sermon shows us how to walk in God's will of direction; Dr. Baucham is simply pointing out that the way we try to walk in the will of direction is many times in conformity to the spirit of the age (i.e., pagan.) God used this message to show me that I need not accept any inner urgings as God's leading without going to the authority of Scripture first. And I know that we don't always seek inner urgings to direct us; may times we also look to circumstantial evidence (i.e., spiritual bread crumbs) to supposedly direct us in God's will. But here's a question I've had. Doesn't God many times direct our steps through our desires and our feelings, provided those are in conformity to His revealed will? Also, when we're in God's will, don't we feel peace about it? By which, I mean clarity of conscience, not necessarily absence of conflict.

Great Sermon! Pastor Baucham that was fantastic sermon. Sir, you speak the truth and do under the authority of the word of God.
I'm listening to this message a 2nd time. I believe that part of the reason people "try to know God's will via feelings and signs" is that it requires precious little effort.
Whereas the method you recommended, opening the word of God, reading and studying the word of God, getting godly counsel from people who know the word of God, obeying what you do know...that requires a purposeful effort and learning to deny yourself and obeying God's word.
Thank you for applying the straight standard of God's word.

Great Sermon! Great Sermon! We need sound preahers like Pastor Baucham. A great 'Gospel centered' resource on the will of God is Kevin DeYoung's book 'Just Do Something.'
