25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. 26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem (KJV).

The fact that he went to Jerusalem is also recorded in in the book of Acts describing his defence before Felix (Acts 24:17), "Now after many years, I came to bring alms to my nation and offerings."
