There is a current revival of interest in esoteric, occultic powers - conspiracy theories, secret societies, mystery codes, inner circle groups, sensationalized disaster & end of the world theories, etc.
Sadly what is popular fiction and role playing has been “baptized” as Biblical eschatology but without warrant of the Scriptures or the Holy Spirit.
Human imagination, mass marketing, poor scholarship, and unhealthy theology threaten to obscure the gospel.
