The most urgent need of the hour is prayer: spiritual, Biblical, persistent, expectant, intercessory prayer. We must start by asking God to enlarge our hearts with more love for people so that we consistently stand in the gap and pray for them. "We have not because we ask not." Faith is essential to prevailing prayer. Abraham is our great example. He believed against hope in hope. The key was that he weighed the human impossibility of becoming a father against the divine impossibility of God being able to break his Word. God cannot break a promise! Pray the promises of God set forth in His Word. With God, nothing is impossible.
