The first message in the verse-by-verse series through the book of Ephesians.
Are you a saint?
In this message, Dr. Cucuzza covers how to become a saint, and what the Bible means when it talks about “saints”. You can know right now if you are a saint. A saint is not just a person that lives a selfless good life, but rather a saint is a person who has trusted Christ as Savior. A saint has been set apart by and to God and made pure. A saint is someone who has been sanctified, and all believers have been sanctified. If you have trusted Christ as your Savior you’re a saint!
As a saint, God wants to continue to sanctify your lifestyle, which means getting purer as time goes on. However, living a pure life is not to earn salvation; once you are saved you are always saved. All sin is paid for. Every saint SHOULD be faithful, but you don’t HAVE TO be faithful to become a saint. God has called us to holiness. You can have peace with God, and you can have the peace of God.
The church is not a building, but rather, it is the body of Christ; believers. When the Bible talks about a church, it is talking about the believers, not the building. The church is made up of saints.

Save yourself much pain! I wish I had heard this message sooner. It would have kept me from much confusion and pain caused by believing false teaching on what salvation and sanctification mean. Listen to this if you are not sure of your eternal destination.

Great Sermon! Ephesians overview. Good explanations of "saints" and "sanctification." Shows how salvation is a gift not by works or sacraments.
