It is not that God would starve us, or see us beg, but that we would not trust or depend on the temporary brooks and provisions of this world, which WILL ALL eventually dry up and fail, but that we would trust in our God, whose provisions for us are unfailing and inexhaustible. I think this truth can be seen in how the Lord Jesus taught us to pray to our Father: "Give us THIS DAY our daily bread" ….
