After showing that He is the revealer of secret through Daniel's knowledge and interpretation of his dream, Nebuchadnezzar acknowledges God, but doesn't submit to Him. After Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego walk in the midst of the fire with one who appears like the Son of God, Nebuchadnezzar makes it a capital crime to blaspheme the name of the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, but he was still filled with pride. After God made him lose his mind and eat grass like an ox for seven years, but gives him his kingdom back after that time, finally, Nebuchadnezzar was humbled and wrote a letter for all peoples, nations and languages praising God and declaring the truth of who God is. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.
