I had posted a terse response to a video comment for which I was severely reprimanded, a couple of years ago! The woman went bezerk quoting some PERversion of Matthew 5:22 "But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell."
Well, wouldn't you know it, I do not hesitate to call someone a fool when it is he/she proves to be one! Furthermore, the entire Bible is full of admonishments regarding discerning the company we keep, etc.. One cannot discern right from wrong unless one JUDGES!!
When asking my pastor (NFBC at the time!) about it, he told me that the differences were TRIVIAL!
Well, in the end, I left that NIV church and hung on to my King James Bible! Praise God!
