Dying testimonies of many who opposed Christians and the Bible such as Voltaire and others. Written in 1852. 'In the Scriptures, many graphic and striking descriptions of hell are given. Whether they are to be taken as literal or not has been a long-standing debate even among conservative scholars. Is hell a place of literal fire and darkness, of brimstone and smoke? If someone denies a literal interpretation of these descriptions with the purpose of diminishing the sufferings of the wicked in hell, they are to be dismissed. However, it is acceptable to hold these descriptions to be figurative in the sense that they are an attempt to describe something so terrifying that it goes beyond the capacity of the human mind to conceive and beyond the power of our human language to communicate. To describe the terrors of hell, the biblical writers used the greatest terrors known to man on earth, but one can be assured that hell is worse than anything found on earth. Fire and darkness, brimstone and smoke are only a feeble attempt to describe a reality far more terrifying than even these words can convey. In the same way that the glories of heaven cannot be comprehended by the human mind or communicated through human language, the terrors of hell are beyond our comprehension and ability to describe.' - Paul Washer, The Truth About Man: A Biblical Study of the Doctrine of Man, p. 74.

PAUL WASHER (HeartCry Missionary Society) writes, 'In the history of extra-biblical study and research tools there has never before been a resource as useful as the Puritan Hard Drive. The Puritan Hard Drive is a tremendous blessing.'
The death of Voltaire This book was quite rare but I was able to get it reprinted on demand. Now there is an invention called the Expresso Book Machine that can take any of these books and print them for you in 5 minutes. Thus the price has come down. About half of what I paid. Well as I was listening to this narration I realized it was about 6 or more years old. I was still using cassette tapes and digitizing them. Now all recordings are done with USB mics, and made digital at 64KBPS. http://puritanaudiobooks.com/2 013/05/05/davis-w-clark---the-d ying-words-of-atheists-and-infi dels.aspx I first became interested in this terrible subject when I came across the antique book by S B Shaw in the library of a good friend. This work by Davis Clark is the largest collection I have ever seen. What is a great mystery is why some men feel the pangs of hell before they get there and some have a foretaste of heaven so great that it almost overwhelms them. The latter I long for, I assure you.
