Fear (verse 43) - The word “Fear” emphasizes reverential respect - You hold in your hand and in your heart the very Word of God - The word “wonders” means “made to think” - “Signs” Before the scripture was completed, God sent signs upon his messengers so you could measure whether they were from God or not. As the scriptures became completed, it was no longer necessary for God to send a sign. The Scripture became the measuring stick. - Does God do miracles today? Yes, but they are not signs. They are by God's sovereignty.
Be willing to share - It was not normal for people to live communally. - Even the most radical of the reformers (The Ana-Baptists) did not require selling your possessions. - We need to be willing to share with those who have need. - The ownership of property was never struck down by Jesus, or the Apostles, or the early Church.
Great Gladness - As believers, we ought to have a smile on our lips.
God's Blessing - A singleness of heart - We should experience God's continued blessings - No ministry goes without hard times.
