In these verses, Jude does something similar to what we find in The Boy Who Cried Wolf. The Boy Who Cried Wolf was a paradigm of untruthfulness. Jude presents six (two groups of three) paradigms of rebellion against God, and he warns the people of God to watch out for the people who have crept in among them who are just like these paradigms of rebellion.
