Great Sermon! Thank you for this sermon. I've always tried to dress modestly but this teaching made me take a closer look at my wardrobe, to see if it is pleasing to the Lord. Also, thank you for teaching the "why" we should cover ourselves. I jotted down the scriptures you gave in the message and feel confident that I can explain to others why I like to dress as I do. I love the phrase "intellectual faith" that you used when describing how we should be able to understand and articulate our beliefs. Again, thanks for a great sermon!

Great Sermon! Wonderful teaching! Where else do people strip down to what amounts to their undergarments, go out in public and jump in the water? Is this okay? Women have a responsibility to dress modestly to honor God and not to cause their brother to stumble. And men need to make a covenant with their eyes to set no wicked thing before their eyes. This sermon has made us rethink what we have accepted in society as normal. God's laws and commands are not grievous. They do not oppress, they protect. Thank you Pastor Cooley for explaining God's definition, not man's definition of nakedness.

Noah and sons..... Noah's sons walked in his tent backwards so they would not see him naked when they covered him. So this is not just an opposite gender issue. When I was in jr high gym class you had to shower with other girls; wrong, wrong, wrong!
