Often times bullheaded is used in a negative way, but there are times when we need to be that way. Bullheaded means stubborn especially when refusing to consider other alternatives. We need to be head strong when it comes to things of God. We need to be unmoved or stationary so satan can't move us from off our solid ground. As believers we need to be strong willed or the enemy will push us around and we will end up with more defeats than victories. Stedfast or settled should be our stance in life. Are we settled with Jesus as creator, savior, and king of our lives? And let us not forget that bad word, ‘increasing' or as it is used here- abounding. Some things need to change for us to keep growing just like working out, you use different muscles so you don't plateau. Our labor in the Lord is not in vain so it is more than worth our while to keep growing. God will reward our labor and supply us the energy to be a bullheaded Christian.
