He will not speak new revelation anymore. We learn about Christ through the prophets and apostles; the preaching of the Gospel of the Christian faith, found in the word of God. This was revealed to us by God, confirmed through signs, miracles and wonders. Because God completed His work of special revelation with the closing of the canon, the primary reason for signs, miracles and wonders has also been completely served.
