In Psalm 107 we learn the theme is "the LORD's steadfast love and wondrous works to the children of man." We see how this truth was the salvation of four different groups of people - all who were in dire distress. One group were lost wanderers. Another group were suffering deadly sickness. Then we learn of others enslaved by their own sinful ways. And finally we see some tossed about by the violent storms of life. In desperation each group cried out to the LORD and he came to their aide - abundant reason for them to give him profound thanks.
