The Sovereignty of God is a subject we don't hear much about. Without knowing about the sovereignty of God, there is no way we can understand the program God has for mankind. God has a definite plan for us and the whole world, and we don't need to worry about because God has it all under control. This country is at a crossroads because our government is now denying the scriptures and pushing God out of our government. This is a voting year, so vote along the guidelines of what the scriptures teach us. You are free to vote for who you want, but as a Christian, listen to the bible to guide your actions. In our studies of the Word, many times we get frustrated because we can't reason out some concepts in the bible, but we can only read and understand it through man's eyes, and the bible is written through God's eyes. We just have to believe.
These verses show God is not upset with His creation and shows the sovereignty of God:
Psalm 2:1-12 1 Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing? ‘Nations' means ‘heathens.' People get an idea of how things should be, and it is not God's way. 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, saying, There are meetings with world leaders who leave Jesus Christ out of it. It is forbidden to pray in the United Nations these days. God is a generic term, but you cannot mention Jesus Christ in these arenas. 3 Let us break their bonds asunder, And cast away their cords from us.
