'As the apostle says to Timothy, so also he says to everyone, 'Give yourself to reading.' He who will not use the thoughts of other men's brains proves that he has no brains of his own. You need to read. Renounce as much as you will all light literature, but study as much as possible sound theological works, especially the Puritanic writers, and expositions of the Bible. The best way for you to spend your leisure is to be either reading or praying.'

I 2nd That :) Yes, Mr. Bennett, this was a superlative sermon, but ohhhh, the sound-level was "a still, small voice." :)
Having "loitered" around the Catholic Answer Forums for several months (I "arrived" there totally by accident, when I was googling something), I knew that their view of the eucharist/Mass was dead wrong, and I could've pointed out certain problems with it, but only in this sermon did you give me decisive "ammo" for pulverizing their nonsense (in my mind only, not there: they are armed to the hilt with Jesuistic "arguments," i.e. axiomatic statements that they hold sacrosanct, but which for an outsider constitute nothing more than the Party Line).
Blessings,

Great Sermon! Mr. Bennett your sermons really speak to my husband and me, as he spent 3 years of his early 20's in a Trappist monastery in Dubuque Iowa, and I myself spent all of my school years amongst the Franciscan nuns.
We were the catholics of catholics, so to speak, and why the Lord Jesus Christ was gracious to us and allowed us to come to the glorious light of His holy gospel shall be a cause for eternal praise, worship and gratitude and wonder!
Thank you so much for your ministry-I was given your name by a close ex-catholic lady friend of ours. I hope you and your dear wife had a lovely anniversary on the 4th of july! (Yes, I heard that on one of the sermons.)
If I could wish anything, it would be that the sound offered by sermon audio when it comes to your sermons would be louder. But if not, I remain willing to keep the speaker close to my ear just to hear you. I do wonder, though, why it is just your sermons, and none others. I hope this does not qualify as a negative comment, as that was not my intent here at all.
God bless you! Numbers 6:24-26

Richard Bennett spent twenty-one years as a RC priest in Trinidad, WI. After a serious accident in 1972, he began to study seriously the Bible. After fourteen years of contrasting Catholicism to Biblical truth, he was convicted by the Gospel message. In 1986, he saw that...
