Tuhan: Our Shepherd As noted, according of Psalms 23, Tuhan (The Lord in Bahasa Indonesia) is Our Shepherd, we shall not lack His Sufficiency! Surely The Rectitude and Mercy of Tuhan shall follow us all of the days of our lives and we will dwell in The House of Tuhan forever, which is what we will be doing one day in The New Jerusalem (Atarashi Erusaremu, Atarashī Erusaremu, 新しいエルサレム) according to Revelation 21 and Revelation 22!

Great Sermon! Thank you for preaching this message. I am in the "valley of the shadow of death" and God truly did restore my soul today with this passage and your preaching. God bless you. I wish you were still in the States.

Thank you for your insights into this psalm. If you ever get the chace you should send some time with a sheep herd.

Deep insight into the 23rd Psalm Very good material here that drives through the sappy sentimentalism of the 23rd Psalm to show that this text goes far beyond being an Osteenian motivational passage and rather follows on the heels of Psalm 22, the passage that foreshadows the sacrificial death of Christ. This Psalm was written for the elect, though who are of the flock of Christ. Equally impressive from this message was the strong reminder that we as believers are all as sheep: defenseless, harmless, and completely dependent on God for every aspect of our lives. What came to mind was how Voddie's facebook followers, who proudly boast of their gun-ownership and willingness to kill intruders, would be well-served from this message and the meekness and humility the psalmist writes about here in describing those of his flock, and not try to be "sheep pretending to be wolves."
