In Mark 3 we are invited to consider several different responses to Jesus: by the crowds by the unclean spirits by the Twelve by Jesus' family and by the scribes.
And at the end of Mark 3 Jesus comments on all this. While there are innumerable ways of grouping people, and there are many possible responses to Jesus, ultimately there is only one way to be part of Jesus' family: “For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.â€
