People who don't learn wisdom will choose options that will impact their lives in dramatic ways. Starting with the fear of the Lord will help you to become wise. But to sidestep that is the ultimate folly. So learning the fear of God is the first step toward wisdom. God is wise in making the consequences of folly hard, because they drive fools toward wisdom. Wisdom creates joy that keeps you wise.
