In John 16:33 Jesus said to his disciples, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Many Christians have found great comfort and confidence in that text, refering to it as they sought to overcome both the phsyical and spiritual temptatations of the world.
But what about the new world that modern-day Christians find themselves living in... the Vitual World of video games and social media. Are Christians overcoming there or have they been overwelhmed by the myriads of new devices, games and news ways of interacting with others? If so, what sort of impact has the embracing of this new world had on the Christian's ability to understand, communicate and live out the Christian life?
On the broadcast today I will speak with Bill Noonkesser from Sermon Audio. Bill recently gave a presentation of this subject one of the Teach Them Dilligently conferences
