The evening sermon will be sermon #2 on regeneration. Our text will be Ezekiel 37.1-14 and we will receive help from Canons of Dort Articles 11-13 of the 3/4 Heads of Doctrine. The vitality and well-being of the church depends on a correct understanding of regeneration. Who saves, God or man? If we answer that question incorrectly we are wasting our time preaching and evangelizing. Let's rejoice Sunday night to learn more carefully that God raises the dead by the Holy Spirit's work. -------------- Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 37:1-14 Confessional Reading: Canons of Dordt 3/4.11-13 Text: Ezekiel 37.1-14 Sermon: "Understanding Regeneration, #2" ------------- Theme: The Lord's promise to revive Israel teaches us that God alone regenerates the spiritually dead
