The city's worship: is focused upon God Himself and the Lamb (v.22). 9. The city's light: is provided by God's glory and the Lamb (v.23). The description of the city by the Revelator is as follows:1. Splendor: as a stone of crystal-dear jasper (Rev. 21:11)2. Wall: seventy-two yards high (v. 17)3. Gates: giant pearls named for the twelve tribes of Israel (vv. 12, 21) 4. Measurement: 1,500-mile cube (v. 16) 5. City itself: pure gold, like clear glass (v. 18) 6.Street: pure gold, like transparent glass (v. 21)7. Temple: God and the Lamb are its temple (v. 22) The "glory" symbolizes God's presence with His people. The fact that He is there is far more significant than the dazzling description of the city itself.
