SERMON INFO
We are not to boast about tomorrow. God's word must be obeyed so we are not to brag about the future, unless we boast about what God says in His word. Bragging about ourselves does not honor the Lord and does not make us look good either. It is exhausting to be around someone who is always irritating others. We are not to give in to the feelings that are not from God. If we are concerned about pleasing God then we don't have time to worry about doing what God hates. Real love wants the best for the other person. Our focus should be on serving the Lord who created us. Often times our enemies will pretend to be your friends. But our true friends will tell us when we are wrong. When we are full of the good stuff, then we will not desire honey. If we get to the point where we have more than enough, we need to give away what we do not need. When people give us honest council it is better than fine perfume. If we see danger, we should be be a coward, however it is wise to take refuge. We will be sharper if we find some people who disagrees with us at times. We need to be diligent with what God has given us. We will reap what we sow.
