Believers baptism is a blessed event. Just prior to His ascension, Jesus commissioned His disciples to go, preach and baptize those who repented and believed the gospel. The gospel presented by Paul was very early perverted. Justin Martyr (100-165) wrote of "water of remission of sin..chooses to be born again." Baptism is the symbolic declaration of faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.
