He was an active pastor and evangelist in the Independent Fundamental Baptist and personal friends to Dr. Jack Hyles. Dr. Delashmit served as the Pastor of the Faith Baptist Church of Posen, IN. Although saved late in life Brother Delashmit dedicated the later part of his ministry to traveling across the nation and preaching the Gospel of Christ.
