But you must grow in the Lord, you must walk in the Spirit. And that means letting go of what you think is the life preserver, the rulebook, and grabbing hold of Jesus with everything you are. There are many situations in life and ministry where there is no specific set of actions in a rule book.
If you are truly led by the Spirit you have to realize that everyone matters. Even the abusers, murderers, deceivers. We have a responsibility to seek the Lord and act according to His direction and His biblical principles. People around us are not always going to agree with that. Some people will be angry with you because you care about the people they don't like.
