We have reached the climactic end of the vision of Isaiah and find in chapters 65-66 a final reckoning for the lost and a final, everlasting renewal for the faithful remnant. In these last 2 chapters we find the Lord's people – His true, believing ones, are set alongside others who are either compromisers or outright pagan. His servants will be brought into a new heaven and new earth while a dreadful judgment awaits the others. We have in contrast undeniable grimness and unimaginable glories.
