Cor. 10:31 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” Christians have often turned to this verse to support applying the gospel to every area of life. The great end or purpose of the Christian life is the Glory of God. Therefore every aspect of life should be evaluated to determine the best way to honor the Lord in that specific arena.
Therefore, we rightfully look at Politics, Education, Science, Theology, Anthropology, etc. But it is interesting to note that the verse used to support the scrutiny of all of these areas actually deals with the subject of food.
The question then is, should we also be considering what and how we eat to the glory of God? This is an area that is very quickly dismissed by many Christians. But is that the proper response. On today, program we want to look at this topic, “Eating to the Glory of God”.
I think a good place to start is to first gather some basic nutritional information about the food that we eat. Here to help us to do that is our Author and Nutritional Consultant Annette Reader
