The focus of this series has been the quote the apostle Paul uses in Romans chapter 9 verse 13 which says;
As it is written, "Jacob I have loved but Esau I have hated."
And from that verse, I asked the question 'why did God hate Esau?' And what I have found so far is this; there is no decree before the foundation of the world in election that God hated him before he was even born, his life choices dictated what kink of man he would become, and that there is no lack in blessing so that he was hindered from following God. However what I find is this, Esau was a man who lived for self, with selfish desires and loved the things of the world, just like myself before chose to believed the gospel.
