The doctrine of Last Things, or Eschatology, centers on the second coming of Jesus Christ and the eternal state of believers. The traditional and biblical confession of Christians is that we believe in the personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ to this earth to establish his eternal kingdom. And we believe that the final destiny of mankind is either in hell or heaven and the new earth in the eternal order following the resurrection and the judgment of the last day. This is a class on Article 12 of our church's Statement of Faith for those in the process of applying for covenant membership.
