We don't hear too many sermons on this Old Testament text; the same text that is on our Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. The parallel is our liberty in Jesus Christ. W. F. Bell brings out some mighty truths here, and gets pretty excited in the process. It makes us think about just why our nation put such verses in prominent places. So sad that in our day the cry is throw such monuments down, whether Liberty Bell, or Ten Commandments. We should be crying "Lord, revive us again".
