God is the potter - I am the clay. The vessel was marred in the hand of the Potter, but He made it again a new vessel. He may do with me as He sees fit. He may make me into what He, in his divine wisdom deems best. If I resist it is a most unnatural thing. The thing made does not resist the One who is making it. We should all take a good honest look at our own heart and ask ourselves the question: "How pliable am I? Or am I dried up and hardened and not fit for the master's use?
