The Psalms are to be sung in worship particularly with the understanding that the Psalms present Jesus as the Lord. Jesus is to be praised and recognized as Yahweh. Ps 7:17, the Lord of Hosts, Ps 24:7 God of Jacob, Ps 46:7. The apostle Paul preaches quoting the psalms. We can have confidence as we are enlightened by the Spirit to sing in praise of Jesus as the Lord.
