Conscience is what distinguishes between what is morally good and what is bad. Every person who has ever been born has a conscience. The Holy Spirit can and will use our conscience to speak to us. Which makes it all the more important that we do not burn our conscience shut with sin or by simply ignoring it altogether. A weak conscience can be weakened even more if we in our freedom tempt others where they see a problem for themselves. We can reprogram our conscience by reading the Bible. Has our conscience become seared due to sin? Let's ask God to help us with our conscience.
