In this expository sermon Dr. Felker share the story of Simon the sorcerer, who made a profession of faith and was baptized. But shortly thereafter it became apparent that his repentance and faith was not genuine. So Dr. Felker warns of having an inadequate faith that is void of true repentance. He calls upon the audience to watch our for wrong motives for being baptized, being a disciple, or in desiring Christian leadership. He also warns of having a wrong understanding, including mixing false religion with Christianity.
