“ Great Sermon! ” I really enjoying listening to David Gay's work. Just discovered him today by accident. I was searching for another book on Amazon and saw a book by David that seemed interesting. In the end I downloaded all of his books as they were inexpensive! Then I discovered he had a website too, so now I'm listening to him and I'm really enjoying listiening to this series!
Praise God for His Mercy and Grace extended to us in Christ. Let's continue to preach the gospel and not be ashamed of it. I'm not. For all men are sinners and we need God to save us in Jesus. Thank God, that when we repent and look unto Jesus He saves us from the Wrath of God.
Listening to this sermon has helped me understand why people in the "west" have become hardened to the gospel, God is giving them up to their sin. This sermon has helped me to understand why the gospel message is not being received by "western" society. God is giving them up. Now I understand. Often when we read scripture we think it is being applied to another culture, a different time a different place but Scripture has a contemporary message for all of time!
Let's preach the gospel, which does involve talking about the wrath of God against sin. Not many these days like to hear about this.

“ Eye-opening Sermon! ” God is obvious in nature but the sinner will keep his eyes closed to it all. Looking at God's wondrous creation all around us makes it impossible to reject God and look to oneself or to evolution to get your answer. Only a foolish person can do this. Brother David gives us a broad overview of seeing and knowing that it all came from God -- even the people in the deep jungle can see what God has made and even they can give credit to God in their own way.
