This sermon was to comfort God's people at PECA, the Van Leuvens, and our family and broader church family, and Jennifer Van Leuven (Pastor's Wife) who just had a near death experience this weekend but thankfully has largely recovered. We thank all the saints around the world who have been praying for Jennifer as we got the word out. We are amazed and overcome with joy after being in agony and overwhelmed with grief. We praise the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Way, the Truth, the Life, and the Resurrection!
In 2 Corinthians 4:7-10, Paul teaches that we take a beating for being Christians, and as Christians we keep on ticking.
You are allowed to express you are overwhelmed. In Christ you know you are never in over your head. All things trouble you on every side, but they are all for your good and for God's glory. We Carry Heavy Burdens, but for Christ We Carry On.
